On Layering—Not Overloading

I’ve been thinking about something unexpected lately: Korean skincare.

Not the products themselves, but the philosophy behind them.

It’s not about finding one product that fixes everything.
It’s about layering—each step designed to do one thing well.

Cleansing.
Toning.
Treating.
Moisturizing.

Each step builds on the last.

Good content works the same way.

Too often, teams look for a single piece of content to carry the entire message.
A page, a guide, an announcement—expected to do everything at once.

But effective content systems are layered.

🫧 A clear overview.
🫧 A structured guide.
🫧 A supporting resource.
🫧 A follow-up touchpoint.

Each piece has a role.
Each piece supports the next.

Korean skincare also prioritizes consistency over intensity.

It’s not about doing everything at once.
It’s about building a routine that works over time.

Content is no different.

Clarity isn’t created in a single asset.
It’s built across an experience.

Different context. Same principle.

The goal isn’t more content.
It’s better structure.
